A whole season into the new year and well if you haven’t gotten to those resolutions you, “promised”, then it’s not too late! It’s never too late to try new things or jump back into challenges that you weren’t prepared for before. Having said, a cut crease can literally cut between your chance of even performing one or not because it can be challenging for some people and if you’re one of them, then today we’re gonna go through it step by step to get those eyes popping for the rest of 2019.

As previously mentioned in a past blog post, it’s always the best in makeup to go lightest to darker colors, as it is only easier to put on than to take away when the colors are more rich in hue. Start by applying the shade you want to emit from the shadows you will be applying later on. Now, if you want more of a dimension, you’re going to go in with a darker and complimentary color but more towards your inner crease so that it blends the colors deeper into the eyes. Now we’re going to sculpt the eye by cutting the crease.

Apply an appropriate amount of concealer onto a small angled brush and start to carve the crease slowly but curvy so that it opens your eyes and you can extend the crease as far, even to the extension of where your liner would be or even higher, it all depends on the look you are going for.

Having said, you can easily leave the crease like that and set the concealer with a light shade or some light glitter or sparkle but if you want to take it up a notch, apply another color, or another crease, or anything, the possibilities are endless, and the creases and cuttable now.
